Job descriptionStarting 11 / 15 / 2025 Ongoing Patient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : TBD Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General Hospitalist cases No. of Beds in Department : TBD Office Equipment Available : TBD Specialty Backup Available : Yes Support Staff Available : Physicians and APPs Reason for Coverage : Coverage Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : TBD Rate : Daily OT after 12 hours (based on differential); Weekly OT after 168 hours (based on fixed) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Licenses : Active Texas State Medical License Board : Board Certified / Board Eligible in ABEM or osteopathic counterparts; must be residency trained in specialty certified in DEA : Active DEA with Texas address Certifications : ACLS, ATLS (ABEM requires proof of ATLS and current ACLS), CME within past 2 years, immunization records (TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella) Experience : Case logs from the past 2 years Other Qualifications : Copies of all education and training diplomas, SS card, driver s license, color photo, telehealth experience not required Provide hospitalist nocturnist coverage during day and night shifts Manage admissions, rounding, and phone consults Ensure timely patient care and documentation Collaborate with APPs and specialty backup teams Comply with credentialing, immunization, and licensing requirements
