Alltown Bus Service is now hiring part-time school bus drivers. Location: 8151 S Dobson, Chicago, IL 60619. Schedule: Part-time, flexible weekday schedule with summers off. Compensation: Paid CDL training no experience necessary. Starting pay $25.00/hour.

Offering $3,000 sign-on bonus for fully credentialed candidates that have a CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement.

A school bus driver is responsible for transporting students safely and on time from their pickup point to school and back. This includes performing pre-trip inspections, ensuring child safety, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
