Responsibilities
- Support the agency's request and approval process, procurement management, life cycle management, redeployment, and disposal of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Track and maintain a large volume of physical and computer network components from acquisition through disposal.
- Complete physical handling of computer hardware inventory (i.e. : moving, stacking, storing, and labeling boxes).
Requirements
Education & Corresponding Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related technical field is preferred.6 months of experience in Computer / Information Technology or a directly related field preferably providing computer hardware and / or software support is required.Required Technical Skills & Experience
2 years working knowledge of computer systems and components, operating systems, and applications software. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.Knowledge of hardware and software lifecycle management.Preferred Skills & Experience
One or more of the following Certifications :Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM).Demonstrated logistics and / or warehouse systems experience. Familiarity with procurement and / or asset ordering systems.Seniority level
