As a Security Professional - Armed Tech / Media Security Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a strong presence at a leading technology location. This position involves carrying a firearm and using your skills to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment, acting with integrity, and delivering reliability through teamwork. What You'll Do

Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Maintain a visible presence and help to deter security-related incidents within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to prevent unauthorized access and / or activities.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and observations.

Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and supporting first responders as directed.

Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times to help to identify potential risks and / or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
