As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol key areas within a logistics and distribution environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Through routine patrols and clear communication, you support a secure and positive location for employees and visitors. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within logistics and distribution locations.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter and / or identify unauthorized activity.Communicate and collaborate with team members and site personnel to maintain awareness of activities and support security-related needs.Observe and report suspicious or unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.Support access control processes by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting irregularities as needed.Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as part of Allied Universal's procedures.Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to staff, visitors, and vendors.What We're Looking For :
