Quality Test Technician – QC Control

Location : Franklin Park, IL

Schedule : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM (First Shift)

Pay : $22.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

We’re seeking a Quality Test Technician (QC Control) to join their dedicated team. This role is hands-on — you’ll be testing fully assembled systems to ensure everything functions properly before final sign-off by the Quality Lead. This is not an inspector role focused on individual components or materials, but rather a testing and troubleshooting position that supports the production of complex, high-quality equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform quality control testing on electrical and hydrodynamic (hydraulic) systems to verify performance and compliance with company standards.

Work directly with the Quality Lead to identify and correct any performance issues.

Inspect and diagnose returned systems and components for possible repair or warranty evaluation.

Conduct incoming inspections on new parts to ensure they meet drawings and quality requirements.

Provide technical support to the fabrication team during mechanical assembly.

Occasionally travel for on-site inspections or troubleshooting (0–10% travel).

Maintain high safety standards in all work areas.

Requirements

1–3 years of related hands-on experience testing or troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems .

Strong understanding of electrical and hydrodynamic (hydraulic) principles.

Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic or international).

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, twist, and kneel for extended periods, sometimes in confined spaces.

Lift and move up to 50 lbs , with occasional pushing or pulling of heavier objects.

Ability to travel by car or airplane for extended durations when required.
