Job descriptionLead the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL / ELT) processes required to migrate high-volume financial datasets. Develop and validate migration scripts, batch jobs, and Teradata BTEQ, TPump, FastLoad, and FastExport utilities. Perform Teradata version upgrades, database refreshes, and schema migrations with zero / minimal downtime. Conduct performance assessments of SQL queries, physical data models, and workload behaviors. Tune system parameters, indexes, statistics, and storage strategies for optimal throughput. Oversee the production health of Teradata environments, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, and post-migration stabilization. Implement best practices for monitoring, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and failover.

Teradata Architect (Migration-Focused)
Primary focus : Lead enterprise-scale Teradata architecture and migration initiatives.
Architectural Design & Strategy :
- Design end-to-end Teradata architectural solutions for large-scale banking and regulatory platforms.
- Evaluate on-prem to cloud or legacy to modern Teradata migration paths; create technical migration blueprints.
- Define data distribution, partitioning strategies, workload management (TASM), and performance optimization approaches.
