About the Role
Reporting to the Administration Purser – Payroll and T&A, this position assists with the overall payroll process and all financially related crew services. This position involves a significant amount of time dealing with crew directly and requires a strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications
Completion of high school, basic education or vocational training equivalency required.Minimum 1 year experience in a payroll or accounting processing position within the hospitality industry or financial institution preferred.Minimum 6 months\' experience in cash handling and an understanding of US currency and exchange rates preferred.Exceptional administrative and analytical skills and aptitude for accounting / bookkeeping.Ability to work independently as well as part of a closely-knit team.Ability to work with and maintain confidential documentation.Proven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests and crew in a considerate, professional, and positive manner by showing concern and listening actively.Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, crew, directors, managers and shoreside employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.Demonstrable potential for growth into management and leadership roles.Competence in operating basic office equipment, including calculators, telephones, computers, and copy machines.Proficiency with computers, internet, and software programs such as Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Intermediate level Excel skills with Financial, Math and Lookup functions and formulas.Required Skills
Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests and crew.Ability to read and write English to understand, interpret and convey written information.This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors, and coworkers.Preferred Skills
