About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Manager to join our team in the staffing industry. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations of consultant onboarding, payroll processing, and general office administration. The ideal candidate has strong administrative and organizational skills and enjoys supporting both consultants and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities :
Consultant Payroll :
- Process weekly / bi-weekly consultant payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll records and address consultant inquiries regarding pay
Consultant Onboarding :
Oversee end-to-end onboarding for new consultants, ensuring compliance with company and client requirementsCollect, verify, and maintain all employment paperwork and recordsEnsure all consultants are set up with necessary systems, timesheets, and reporting proceduresCompliance & Background Screening :
Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and employment verificationsTrack compliance deadlines and ensure consultants remain in good standingPartner with vendors to resolve any screening issuesAdministrative & Office Management :
Maintain consultant and client files, both electronic and physicalEnsure accuracy of contracts, agreements, and documentationSupport internal staff with scheduling, reporting, and other administrative tasks as neededAct as a primary point of contact for consultants regarding HR / payroll and onboarding mattersQualifications :
Previous experience in the staffing, recruiting, or HR industry highly preferredStrong knowledge of payroll processes and requirementsExcellent organizational and time management skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong communication and interpersonal skills
