As a Security Officer Healthcare Facility Patrol Officer in Monroeville PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff patients and visitors. Your visible presence and proactive approach will support a positive atmosphere while responding to situations as needed. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols for healthcare locations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or behaviors.

Assist in monitoring access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the healthcare location.

Document observations incidents and / or activities as required by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Support emergency response activities including assisting with evacuations and / or directing individuals during urgent situations as needed in a healthcare setting.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff patients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements :

Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.

Work in hospital morgue environments may be required.

Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
