As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within hospital facilities to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations within healthcare facilities in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential concerns. Maintain awareness of the healthcare environment to support a secure atmosphere for all occupants. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies. Minimum Requirements : Vaccination is required for work in hospital environments. Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue settings. Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
