Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in grades K-2 during the 2025-2026 school year. This full-semester contract position is based in Montpelier, VT, and involves working directly with a caseload of 15-20 students, delivering individualized instructional support to meet diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement specialized educational plans aligned with IEP goals for students in kindergarten through second grade
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to promote academic and social growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports in pliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective classroom strategies
