Role Overview
They are seeking an Associate Director, Patient Marketing, to lead the launch of their product. This role will drive patient marketing initiatives—including DTC strategy, media planning, content creation, and performance analysis—aligned with brand goals. The position collaborates cross-functionally with teams such as Patient Advocacy, Sales, Communications, Market Access, Medical, and PRC, as well as external partners.
Job Requirements
- Execute a comprehensive patient engagement and education plan for both the disease and the product
- Utilize print, digital, social, and other channels for a seamless, personalized experience
- Own and apply a deep understanding of the patient journey
- Leverage patient insights to develop supportive, empowering engagement tactics
- Ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and eyecare professional (ECP) initiatives
- Collaborate with the ECP brand lead to integrate the patient perspective
- Oversee development and management of patient-facing digital assets
- Includes websites, banner ads, apps, etc., ensuring they are informative, accessible, and engaging
- Use marketing expertise to build and engage a MacTel community
- Focus on social media and other digital platforms
- Lead patient ambassador programs and patient-centered events
- Monitor engagement and performance metrics
- Use insights to optimize strategies and allocate resources effectively
- Manage program budgets, vendor contracts, and project timelines
- Ensure delivery within the agreed scope, budget, and deadlines
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum 4 years of product marketing experienceAt least 3 years in pharmaceutical marketing, promotions, or relevant commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Market Access)Requirements
