Full-time, on-site, Monday-Friday 8 : 30-5 : 00
Salary range : $50-58,000
We’re hiring for a full-time Administrative Assistant position to join our clients team at an Electrical contracting company in Hawthorne, NY. This new role will work alongside two part-time administrative assistants and provide direct support to the Service Manager, Project Managers / Estimators, and Bookkeeper.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy open office that supports both residential and commercial electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Answering and directing phone calls; assisting customers and vendors professionally
- Coordinating with management to schedule service and project work
- Gathering and submitting permit applications and related documentation
- Requesting, tracking, and filing insurance certificates and compliance paperwork
- Supporting project management tasks including creating jobs, tracking progress, and maintaining records
- Assisting with marketing efforts
- Providing general administrative support across departments as needed

Prior experience in a construction, contracting, or service-based business preferredStrong communication and organization skills - ability to stay focused in an open office environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software quicklyComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWe’re looking for someone dependable who can grow with the company and take ownership of their role over time.
