FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE :
Leads the development, implementation, and analysis of projects in support of strategies, policies, and programs for international business objectives and services. Develops plans and procedures to support USPS's role as a trusted third-party provider.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Leads the development and implementation of policies and programs for effective control of deployed, planned, and forecasted business initiatives.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with multiple teams to develop reports, presentations, business needs, and related project documentation. Monitors projects to ensure proper tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Leads the development and coordinates the implementation of complex business initiatives.
- Researches, analyzes, evaluates, and provides recommendations to resolve international customer experience related issues and problem situations.
- Oversees the development of complex business initiatives based on industry demand and revenue projection; develops purpose statements for products and services.
- Serves as a team lead, coordinates projects and distributes critical assignments. Monitors progress of business initiatives and establishes criteria to measure the performance of Postal products and services.
- Serves as liaison between Postal Service and external service providers on policy issues to develop long and short-term complex business strategies based on market indicators, technology requirements, and Postal business goals.
- Provides technical, policy and program guidance to headquarters, area, and district employees regarding business initiatives, products, and services including the development and implementation of current and proposed business initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS :
Knowledge of Postal products, services, and policies sufficient to develop and implement polices and programs related to business initiatives.Knowledge of business project planning sufficient to develop and coordinate the implementation of complex business initiatives.Ability to plan, oversee, and conduct data analyses; identify industry trends; and develop recommendations based on the findings.Ability to develop purpose statements for products and services.Ability to evaluate and develop improvements of complex business processes and initiatives.Ability to oversee and coordinate projects, including developing plans and timelines, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance and feedback.Ability to manage contracts which includes developing statements of work, reviewing bids and proposals, and monitoring contractor efforts.Ability to communicate orally and in writing to develop and present reports, summaries, and recommendations, and provide program and policy guidance related to products, services, and business initiatives.
