JOB TITLE : Staff Accountant

LOCATION : Hawthorne, NY (on-site)

TYPE : Part-time, regular

COMPENSATION : $28.00 / hr - $38.00 / hr

Role Summary :

The Staff Accountant will support our financial operations with precision and integrity. This role is ideal for a professional who is seeking to re-enter work or is seeking a flexible working schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and follow-up
• Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support yearly audit, tax preparation and liaise with external CPAs as needed
