Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced ERP Deployment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the implementation of an enterprise resource planning system in aerospace and defense operations. This role will focus on supplier collaboration, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain processes while ensuring seamless integration with contract management and financial systems.The SME will work closely with functional leads, technical consultants, and business process owners to ensure system configurations reflect future-state workflows, meet compliance requirements, and enable smooth operational performance in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with functional consultants to design and validate workflows for procurement, supplier management, inventory, and sourcing.
• Participate in design and build sessions with stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, and accounts payable.
• Serve as the internal expert on ERP functional capabilities, translating business needs into system configurations.
• Align ERP data structures with contract management and financial reporting systems.
• Support supplier onboarding and enablement, including catalog management, performance monitoring, and shipping notifications.
• Identify procurement and supplier data elements (purchase order lines, subcontracts, receiving, invoices) for mapping to financial systems.
• Define integration requirements for indirect / direct costs, subcontract flow-downs, and supplier milestones.
• Validate invoice posting and accounts payable workflows in finance systems.
• Ensure catalogs, item masters, and purchase orders comply with reporting and compliance requirements.
• Test end-to-end procurement and finance flows, from purchase order creation to invoice posting.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test scripts, validating workflows, and ensuring compliance alignment.
• Partner with change management to create training materials and support user adoption.
• Provide ongoing process and system expertise during post–go live hypercare.
