Assembler

YOUR DAY TO DAY :

To learn and perform basic, routine electronic, mechanical, or composite assembly tasks following specific quality specifications and procedural documentation and follow instructions given under direct supervision.

Machine & Equipment used :

Soldering irons, soldering aids, cutters, long nose and grip ring pliers, wire strippers, nut drivers, rivet guns, open and box end wrenches, luggers, screwdrivers, component bending tools, torches, vacuum equipment, RF induction heating equipment, cold test equipment, spot welding, laser welding and heliarc welding equipment, brazing equipment, measuring calipers, voltmeters, electronic multi-meter, heat guns, glue guns, tie wrap guns, crimpers, crimping machines, etc.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR :

• Learns and performs basic, routine, repetitive mechanical, electronic, or composite assembly following well-defined verbal and / or written instructions.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain quality standards.
• Performs basic wiring, soldering, welding, brazing, and other related electronic or mechanical assembly.
• For composite assembly, experience with construction, mechanic, sanding, buffing, cutting, painting, using grinders, assembling, or using power drills and hand tools.
• Makes simple mechanical, electronic or composite adjustments and alignments.
• Develops understanding of basic assembly sketches, drawings and terminology normally used in electronic and mechanical assembly.
• Develops adaptability for using related electronic, mechanical, assembly, or composite tools plus special tools or fixtures as required. May use solvents and resins.
• Keep work area organized and clean daily; May work in clean room environment; Understand and log supporting documentation; Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
