Senior FP&A Consultant
We are seeking candidates for a Senior FP&A Consultant role with a rapidly growing SaaS organization offering 100% remote flexibility (EST-based candidates only). This individual will lead advanced financial modeling, manage monthly forecasting processes, oversee SaaS ARR data, and support systems‑integration efforts across Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Maxio. The Senior FP&A Consultant will be a key contributor to the 2026 budget cycle and will partner closely with senior finance leadership to deliver timely, accurate, and insight‑driven financial outputs.
This is a 2–3 month contract position, paying between $60–$70 per hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
- Enhance, maintain, and streamline complex Excel-based financial models (actuals, forecasts, budgets), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and operational usability.
- Perform monthly model updates, incorporating actuals, budgets, headcount, operating expenses, and ARR data across the full three‑statement model (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
- Identify and execute automation opportunities using advanced Excel tools (Power Query, macros, data connections, etc.) to improve efficiency and reporting reliability.
- Maintain, validate, and enhance the ARR and customer subscription database, ensuring accurate tracking of cohorts, bookings, renewals, churn, expansions, and other key SaaS metrics.
- Reconcile and troubleshoot data discrepancies across Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Maxio as part of a broader systems‑integration and data‑quality initiative.
- Support the CFO, VP of Finance, and Controller throughout the 2026 budget cycle, including analysis, scenario modeling, and preparation for the final Board presentation in January 2026.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis, deep dives, variance reviews, and model enhancements as needed during peak budgeting periods.
Qualifications
5–8+ years of FP&A, financial modeling, or related finance experience.SaaS industry experience required, including hands‑on exposure to subscription / ARR modeling, SaaS KPIs, and revenue dynamics.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.Expert‑level Excel skills with deep experience building, enhancing, and troubleshooting complex financial models.Strong understanding of SaaS ARR mechanics and KPI frameworks (retention, expansion, cohort analysis, CAC payback, LTV, etc.).Hands‑on experience with Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Maxio highly preferred, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn financial and RevOps systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.For immediate consideration, interested and qualified candidates should send their resume to Lydia at Lsinger@daleyaa.com .
