In August 1991, Care-a-lot opened the doors of their first center in Greece. The community enthusiastically responded to the quality of early childhood education and care available at the center. Because of their strong reputation, Care-a-lot is now serving families in eight locations in the Rochester community : North Greece, South Greece, Henrietta, Pittsford, Fairport, Farmington / Canandaigua, Browncroft Day Care Center, and Victor Child Care.

In 2023, Generations Child Care joined the Care-a-lot family. Care-a-lot is committed to maintaining the excellent service that Generations has provided to children and families for decades and is excited to start this new chapter as we continue to grow! Purpose :

To be responsible for the general supervision (of children and classroom staff) and management of one classroom by performing the duties necessary to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating and educational environment for children. This includes allowing the children to grow at their own pace and gain in social, physical, emotional and cognitive development.

Reports To : Director, Assistant Director or other designated Administrator

Supervises : Assistant Teachers

Works as a Team with : Designated School District
