Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and design individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic treatment.
• Provide Education for Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their caregivers on therapeutic methods to ensure ongoing progress in a home environment.
• Observe and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatments as necessary, keeping patients on track towards their goals.

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
