About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Ventures to take on a pivotal role in corporate venture capital investing, portfolio management, and ecosystem development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of the venture process, including deal sourcing, driving due diligence efforts, and supporting the company's portfolio investments. This role demands a strategic leader who can align with internal stakeholders, build and maintain a strong network within the venture and entrepreneurship community, and represent the firm at industry events. The VP, Ventures will also be expected to have a deep understanding of relevant technologies, particularly in the Fintech, financial services, payments, retail, or healthcare sectors, and the ability to identify and assess emerging market trends.

Applicants for the VP, Ventures position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' of professional experience, or a Master's degree with at least 7 years' of relevant experience, in the specified industries. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in deal sourcing, financial analysis, and market assessment, as well as the ability to build and maintain a network of partners, including startups, investors, and other ecosystem players. Desired characteristics include a proven track record in venture capital, a deep understanding of new technologies such as AI and machine learning, and a strong connection to the startup community.
