Key Responsibilities :

  • Mentor a team of Implementation Engineers, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting professional growth.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-priority customer implementations, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate workload, resource allocation, and scheduling across the US implementation team to meet project deadlines and maintain balanced utilisation.
  • Drive the customer onboarding lifecycle—from initial kick-off through successful transition to steady state support—while ensuring consistent processes and high-quality delivery.
  • Plan and host detailed project kick-off meetings, aligning timelines, deliverables, and success criteria with customer stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyse customer infrastructure information to design optimal deployments of Rubrik and complementary backup solutions.
  • Prepare, build, and coordinate shipment of appliances or related hardware, verifying configuration and quality before dispatch.
  • Install, configure, and integrate appliances in physical, virtual, and hybrid environments, including network setup, authentication, and performance tuning.
  • Proactively troubleshoot installation and configuration issues, collaborating with customers, OEM partners, and internal engineering teams to achieve rapid resolution.
  • Deliver customer training or knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive customer documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodology.    Key Qualifications and Experience :

  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise backup and recovery systems—experience with Rubrik, Zerto, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or Veeam is highly advantageous.
  • Solid networking knowledge :

  • IP addressing, routing, DNS, VPNs, and firewall rules.
  • Hands-on expertise with virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid-cloud deployments is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence and inform stakeholders from technical teams to senior executives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently.
  • Leadership & Team Management :

  • Proven ability to coach and motivate technical staff, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Escalation & Conflict Resolution :

  • Skilled at managing complex incidents and customer escalations, balancing customer satisfaction with internal priorities Excellent time-management and organisational skills; comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects and meeting tight deadlines.   Preferred Qualifications : Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Systems / Network Administration, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Management or leadership certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or relevant people-management courses) are a plus.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or AWS Solutions Architect.
