LABORER

C&K Industrial Services is seeking General Laborers tojoin our growing team. Our General Laborers will set up jobsites and use equipment such as, water blast gun, water lance, dry vacuum hose, wet vacuum hose, shovels and picks forjobs related to Industrial facility shutdowns, emergency response, site remediation, industrial tank cleanings and more.

Qualified maybe required to travel with overnight stays likely.

Responsibilities / Qualifications :

• Cleaning machinery and equipment such as boilers, pipes conveyors belts and tanks
• Monitoring work areas for safety and environmental concerns and reporting any unsafe conditions or concerns to supervisor as needed.
• Wearing personal protective equipment such as gloves, hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, steel toed boots when required for specific tasks
• Operate a variety of hand tools such as safety equipment, vacuum hoses, high-pressure water lances, shovels, and other construction equipment
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper working condition
• Load, unload and transport job supplies to and from job sites
• Follow OSHA, Company and Customer safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Participate in safety discussions and paperwork
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance tasks on job sites
• Ability to wear respirator
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to work well with other job site peers and supervisors
• Must be able to climb, stairs, ladders and scaffolding
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to read and understand job scope and safety plans

Benefits :

• Hourly pay rate $16.00 / hour
