Looking for a candidate with strong costing and inventory experience, but also a solid foundation in technical accounting. These skills will be essential, as the individual will be responsible for the full scope of accounting activities.

It is important that the candidate has a thorough understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.

Financial Duties

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting.

Prepare Journal entries for month end closing

ICO accruals and cash settlement

Reconcile balance sheet accounts

Payroll and payroll accounting experience

AP / AR controls and review responsibility

1099 preparation

Banking

Approve ACH and wire activity

Reconcile monthly bank statements

Fixed Asset

Ensure fixed assets are appropriately recorded and depreciated.

Prepare entries for depreciation.

Maintain accurate registers that tie monthly to the financial statements

Requirements

Several years of controlling and reporting experience, preferably from both Sales and Manufacturing operations.

Curiosity to understand the business, customers, and operations.

Strong business sense with a high level of integrity.

Determination and experience of implementing changes.

Strong capability of driving / performing analysis.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

4-year degree in accounting.
