Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for the following position : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Silver City, New Mexico. This is a 26-week contract position that requires at least one year of experience.\n\nJob Responsibilities : \n

• Prepare and administer anesthesia.\n
• Provide patient care before, during and after surgery.\n
• Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.\n
• Provide trauma stabilization and critical care interventions.\n
• Diagnose and deliver acute and chronic pain management.\n
• Stay current with new techniques, technology and medications related to anesthesia practice.\n
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.\n\nQualifications : \n
• An active and unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license in the state of employment (if a new license is needed for your assignment, Aya Locums can help).\n
• No flagged or under investigation licenses.\n

• 5x8-Hour 07 : 00 - 15 : 00\n\nEducation Requirements : \n
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.\n
• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program (DNP required as of 2025.)\n
• Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA.)\n
• Continued medical education (CME) to maintain NBCRNA certification and medical licenses.\n\nExperience Requirements : \n
