LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles' third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. This presents the unique and exciting opportunity to celebrate our legacy with the Games and push the Olympic and Paralympic Movements forward, writing a new chapter of Games history in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities :
Space Planning
- Lead scaled, concurrent construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects from concept to completion
- In collaboration with Real Estate Acquisition, lead the planning for HQ facility acquisition, including space allocation exercises
- Plan and oversee design coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors, and owners)
- Monitor and track project deliverables and milestones
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, financial comparison, and project change orders, as required
- Support the space planning and material needs for LA28 HQ buildout operations (ie Main Operations Center, Functional Command Centers, Board Meetings, etc.)
- Conduct random field inspections with relevant stakeholders
Facilities Management
Support the planning, operations, and maintenance of LA28 offices, and warehouses, serving as the point of contact for facility-related projects and escalationsSelect, contract, and manage facility service providers (e.g., janitorial, security, maintenance, utilities), including service agreements and escalation protocolsAid in the forecasting of staffing and resource needs, especially during peak periods (test events, games time periods)Have input into facility budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies, negotiating contracts as required ensuring best value to LA28Support the tracking and reporting of financial performanceAssist with developing policies to manage the inbound / outbound flow of goods and materials in the on-site warehouseAligning with Technology, contribute to the development of a work-order system for internal clients to input work requests, warehouse space needs, and any manpower assistanceOversee the sorting, processing, and distribution of incoming / outgoing packages, ensuring proper labeling and routing of all parcelsSupport LA28 sustainability initiativesHelp guide compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental standardsAdvise and assist with the recruitment, training, evaluation, and management of Facility staffContribute to setting goals and evaluating performance of staffHelp facilitate the development of training programs for staffSupport individual and collective growth of all team membersExperience :
7+ years experience in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Maintenance or related fieldExperience with vendor / contractor management, in large-scale, multi-floor environment building client relationshipsProven ability to project manage multiple locations concurrentlyExcellent analytical skills : ability to make decisions both independently and within a team environmentStrong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)A team player with a strong customer service focus with a desire to go the extra mileDemonstrate ability in upward / downward communicationCompetence to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public / private settings, as requiredWilling to work on complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting patience, persistence andExperience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environmentHigh attention to detailExpectations :

An undergraduate degree or relevant experience in Building or Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Architectural SciencesThe annual base salary range for this position is $105,000.00 - $140,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
