Approximately 10% travel in the U.S. annually is expected.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & GrowthProject manage department portfolios across revenue lines, including assigning and executing timelines and deliverables for key development initiatives to ensure efficient resource deployment and goal achievement.Lead and implement high-performance team strategies to grow HIHs individual giving program, focusing on mid- and major donor development, monthly giving, and donor-led campaigns.Proactively identify and pursue innovative and scalable approaches to individual donor acquisition, cultivation, and retention.Bring creativity and exceptional detail-orientation to support the team and Friends of HIH in the development and planning of local activations that increase awareness of HIHs work and networks of potential support.Serve as HIHs internal authority on individual donor behavior, trends, and best practices, translating insights into actionable strategies for donor stewardship.Track revenue projections against fundraising targets to ensure alignment with departmental budgets and organizational financial goals.Donor Portfolio Management & CultivationBring a high-level of efficiency to coordinate and structure donor stewardship in close collaboration with the Founder, co-CEOs, and Sr. Partnerships Director in serving as the Primary Relationship Managers (PRMs) for a portfolio of mid- and major donors, conducting donor research and designing customized cultivation and stewardship strategies. This will require creating individual stewardship plans, carefully tracking activities and follow-up, and providing materials and prep.Develop and track individual donor engagement and cultivation communications, insights, and expectations to advance the individual giving program and outcomes.Manage and grow HIHs monthly donor program through tailored donor journeys, upgrades, and sustained engagement tactics.Design and facilitate meaningful donor experiencesincluding virtual and in-person engagements, as well as donor tripsthat reflect HIHs values of mutuality and transparency.Campaigns & Community EngagementIn coordination with Communications, lead and manage annual fundraising campaigns (e.g., Year-End Campaign), managing appeal development, donor segmentation, and performance tracking.Expand and manage HIHs peer-to-peer and donor-led fundraising initiatives by developing toolkits, offering coaching, and promoting campaign visibility.Help cultivate a values-aligned donor community grounded in reciprocity, trust, and long-term partnership.Communications & StorytellingSupport the Communications Strategy and ensure all partnerships and advancement messaging is fully aligned with organizational goals and brand voice.Support the Communications Department's execution of fundraising campaigns by managing donor lists and segmentation for all channels, including email and direct mail appeals.Partner with the Communications Departmentwhich is responsible for content and designto develop compelling, donor-centric materials such as appeal letters, print collateral, impact reports, and proposals.Coordinate and deliver timely donor communication and recognition, including physical mailings and acknowledgments, to strengthen engagement and stewardship.Data, Analytics & CRM ManagementWork with the Partnerships Associate to analyze donor data and give trends using Salesforce and wealth screen tools, informing segmentation strategies and identify new prospects.Collaborate with the Partnerships Associate in Salesforce CRM management, including building dashboards, generating reports, and applying best practices for donor data integrity.Global Visibility & Event EngagementCoordinate HIHs presence at major global events (e.g., TED Summit, New York Climate Week, COP30), identifying strategic opportunities for visibility and donor engagement.Prepare briefing materials, attend key sessions, and support relationship-building efforts, including tracking and managing follow-up activities, to strengthen HIHs philanthropic profile on the international stage.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.5 years of relevant experience in individual giving, fundraising, event coordination, or business development, ideally in the nonprofit sector.3 years of demonstrated experience in project management, including successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within scope.Demonstrated experience managing donor relationships and working with donor databases (Salesforce preferred).Proven ability to lead campaigns, manage events, and steward donors across giving levels.Experience supporting or working closely with nonprofit boards and executive leadership.Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.High-level proficiency in Google Workspace, Salesforce, Asana, Razors Edge, DonorPerfect, and DonorAtlas.Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.Personal TraitsPassion for environmental justice, global health, and community-led development.Highly organized, exceptional orientation to detail with strong follow-through.Friendly, charismatic, professional, and donor-centered communicator.Self-starter who thrives in a remote and in-person, collaborative environment.Values-aligned and enthusiastic about HIHs mission and anti-colonial, community-driven approach.Adaptable, humble, and eager to continuously learn and improve.Commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful cross-cultural communication.ApplicationPlease submit a resume and cover letter in English, describing your relevant skills and experience.
