This role is pivotal in aligning AI capabilities with strategic business objectives, enabling innovation, driving adoption and operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and business insight, capable of communicating complex AI concepts to executive stakeholders and influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
Job Qualifications
- AI-Driven Innovator : You understand advanced AI concepts and can lead initiatives that integrate these technologies into core systems to drive meaningful business transformation.
- 3+ years of applied AI & ML experience : Proven track record of using AI, predictive analytics, and automation to solve real-world business problems.
- 8+ years of software development experience : Proficient in coding and understanding the challenges of building and maintaining complex systems.
- 5+ years of experience in Solutions or Enterprise Architecture : Strong strategic vision with hands-on delivery capability.
- 5+ years data and integration experience : Familiar with data-based systems and tradeoffs of various implementations.
- 5+ corporate systems experience in quick service restaurants or retail : Understand how technology enables the business and can lead cross-functional collaboration.
- Communication Superstar : Able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Get It Done Attitude : Self-starter with a strong work ethic and results focus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Master's degree is a plus but not required.
Location
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. The position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon–Thu); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Vision : Develop and champion the strategic roadmap for leveraging AI to drive business transformation and create a competitive advantage.Architecture & Governance : Design scalable AI architectures and establish governance to ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and integrated enterprise-wide.Execution & Value Realization : Oversee the execution of AI projects to solve critical business problems and deliver measurable ROI through user adoption.Provide direct oversight of AI solution design, infrastructure, and deployment using standardized coding best practices.Deeply experienced and passionate about applied AI, comfortable building end-to-end ML pipelines in cloud environments; set priorities and organize collaborative work.Drive timely delivery of AI products linked to actionable business decisions.From proof-of-concept to full productization, including data ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring for performance drift, and iteration for continuous improvement.Informs, influences, and supports product decisions.Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings.Skills

In-Office Environment : Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions.Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu meetings.Office Conditions : Adaptability to typical office conditions, including air conditioning, heating, lighting, and varying noise levels.Mobility : Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long periods. Ability to move or lift office items up to 25 pounds occasionally.Hearing Requirements : Hearing sufficient for clear understanding of spoken information; use of hearing aids allowed if needed.Reading and Writing Proficiency : Ability to read and write in English for processing documents and drafting reports.Vision Requirements : Vision adequate to perform essential duties; corrective lenses acceptable if needed.Technology Proficiency : Proficient in operating a computer and office productivity tools.Effective Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder interactions.Compensation
The minimum expected salary for this position is $142,243.41 and may increase based on experience.
