Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Stepdown - $1,761 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

UNIT : 4N CARDIAC

CLINICAL INTERVIEWS

Certs Required :   BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Experience Required : 2 years. First time travelers not preferred but would consider on exp. Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain / tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion / management, etc), PCA pumps. Medication gtt management to include : Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF.

No call, EOW.

RN : 1 : 5-6

Patient Types / Common Diagnoses : Congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, hypertension, stroke, cardiac arrhythmias, endocarditis, and initial cardiac work up for chest pain and / or shortness of breath. Initial cardiac work up typically includes prepping patients for cardiac stress test.

Floating : Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises

If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
