About the Role
As an Account Manager , you’ll play a key role within our Customer Success organization. You will manage a portfolio of strategic partner relationships and ensure a best-in-class experience for our clients.
You’ll oversee account operations, build trusted relationships with partners, and drive retention and revenue growth. This is a highly visible role where you’ll collaborate cross-functionally and help shape the way we deliver value to our partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities Client & Partner Management
- Manage a strategic portfolio of partner and client accounts, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for key accounts, driving quick and effective resolution.
- Build deep relationships with partner stakeholders, aligning Formations’ solutions with their business goals.
- Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance, uncover growth opportunities, and strengthen partnerships.
- Advocate for client and partner needs across internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Operations.
Onboarding & Adoption
Lead a seamless onboarding experience for new clients and partners, ensuring a smooth handoff from Sales.Guide partners and clients through product adoption to ensure full value realization of the Formations platform.Retention & Growth
Monitor account health, usage, and satisfaction to proactively identify risk and drive renewals.Collaborate with Sales to identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities.Contribute to customer retention strategies that enhance overall lifetime value.Operations & Reporting
Ensure timely, high-quality service delivery across all assigned accounts.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as client retention, NPS, and engagement metrics.Prepare performance reports and insights for internal teams and executive stakeholders.Maintain accurate records in CRM and account tracking tools.Requirements
2+ years in Account Management , Customer Success , or Project Management in a customer-facing role.Proven experience managing a book of business or portfolio of partner accounts.Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (HubSpot).Self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to anticipate needs and take initiative.Ability to identify opportunities for expanded products or services.A customer-first mindset with a passion for helping clients succeed.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in financial services , tax planning , or working with self-employed professionals .Background in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment .Familiarity with the self-employed or small business ecosystem
Compensation : $90,000 – $110,000
