Chief Technology Officer, Applied AI (5910)

MetroStar is seeking a visionary  Chief Technology Officer, Applied AI to spearhead our mission of integrating and scaling AI across the Department of Defense and National Security enterprise.

What You'll Do and Why It Matters

• Lead the Operationalization of AI : Transform AI prototypes and research into mission-ready, scalable systems deployed across strategic DoD and National Security accounts, including COCOMs, PEOs, and the IC.
• Elevate the Warfighter Experience : Drive integration of intelligent technologies into edge operations, logistics, ISR, and command-and-control systems to enhance decision advantage and operational efficiency.
• Translate Innovation into Revenue : Unlock RDT&E funding by aligning AI-enabled architectures with SBIR Phase III, OTA pathways, and other public-private innovation models to accelerate program funding and growth.
• Shape Future-Ready Capabilities : Deliver technical oversight and strategic direction for R&D programs, including Falcon C2 and CBM+ KC-46, aligned with the Great Power Competition and national defense modernization efforts.
• Serve as an Enterprise Catalyst : Work closely with MetroStar’s Chief Innovation Officer, Distinguished Tech Fellows, and executive leaders to synchronize innovation, delivery, and growth strategies across classified and unclassified missions.
• Build and Lead High-Impact Teams : Recruit, mentor, and inspire cross-functional technical teams, fostering a collaborative culture of excellence, agility, and mission alignment.
• Amplify MetroStar’s Positioning : Champion MetroStar as a preferred AI integrator across defense programs by operationalizing AI at scale and demonstrating impact in real-world environments.

SALARY RANGE : $230,000 - $276,000
