Product Designer – Hybrid – Detroit – $150k + Benefits

We’ve partnered with a trailblazing robotics start-up that’s reshaping the future of advanced manufacturing—and they’re building the tools to match. With a highly technical product and a bold mission, design is more than aesthetics here—it’s how complexity becomes usable, and how innovation reaches the people who need it most.

They’re now looking for a Product Designer who can bring clarity to complexity and craft clean, intuitive experiences for a cutting-edge robotics platform.

What you’ll be doing :

Designing end-to-end user experiences for web-based tools used in high-stakes manufacturing environments

Turning deeply technical requirements into simple, accessible, and elegant UI solutions

Owning everything from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, with a relentless focus on usability

Conducting user research and competitive analysis to shape product decisions and validate direction

Working closely with engineers and product leads to ship fast, learn fast, and iterate with purpose

What we’re looking for :

Strong UI / UX design experience—especially for technical or data-heavy tools

A deep understanding of user research , interaction design , and what makes a product feel seamless

A talent for simplifying complexity—making powerful features feel intuitive and approachable

Proven ability to translate technical requirements into user-first experiences

Experience designing mobile-accessible web applications (not native apps)

Bonus points for :

A sharp design portfolio showcasing thoughtful, real-world product work

Experience in B2B or industrial tech environments

Familiarity with the robotics or manufacturing world
