ADABAS Database Administrator

A company is looking for an ADABAS Database Administrator to support their technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee technical direction and execution of database tasks

Provide day-to-day support for large ADABAS instances and perform maintenance tasks

Collaborate with development teams to optimize query configurations and implement disaster recovery strategies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field

Ten years of experience with Software AG products, including Adabas and Natural

Recent experience with ADABAS Cluster Services in an IBM z / OS Parallel Sysplex

Experience in maintaining Natural Authorized Services Manager and supporting CICS Natural applications

Experience in developing disaster recovery procedures for the ADABAS environment
