Job Description

This General Contractor has grown immensely in the past 5 years in the Mid-Atlantic, specifically in the education and healthcare industries. Their projects are typically between $20M-80M and consist of a combination of new construction and renovation projects. This company has a huge focus on collaboration and giving back to the communities in which they work and look for individuals who value the same.

Responsibilities :

• Develop detailed project logistical plans and direct responsibility for developing and managing project specific safety plans.
• Coordinate material deliveries, developing project flow, and maintaining project master schedules and three-week forecasts.
• Superintendents ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local building codes and possesses strategic foresight to predict problems before they develop
• Manage the project to meet the required specifications in the allotted time
• Review and approve all requisitions, field purchase orders, progress payment requests, and other significant reports and documents
• Maintain and build high quality relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Responsible for site safety
