Position Overview

Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking an experienced Journeyman Carpenter for a commercial construction project in Parma, OH. This role requires a well-rounded carpenter skilled in metal stud installation and rough framing. Candidates should have a solid background in commercial carpentry, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to support various phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities

Install metal studs for walls, partitions, and ceilings.

Perform rough framing and other general carpentry tasks.

Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.

Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.

Collaborate with the site supervisor and team to maintain schedule and quality standards.

Adhere to all site safety regulations and procedures.

Schedule

Days : Monday Friday

Hours : 7 : 00 a.m. 3 : 30 p.m.

Breaks : 9 : 30 a.m. (morning break) and 12 : 00 p.m. (lunch)

Overtime : 40+ hours per week possible

Requirements

Proven experience as a journeyman carpenter in commercial construction.

Skilled in metal stud installation and rough framing.

Ability to read and work from blueprints.

Proficient with carpentry tools and equipment.

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
