Insurance Counselor II

A company is looking for a Centralized Insurance Counselor II (remote).

Key Responsibilities

Conducts telephonic patient insurance education and communicates opportunities to improve patients' insurance status

Provides information on insurance coverage and financial assistance programs while ensuring high customer service levels

Acts as a liaison to resolve patient insurance issues and maintains relationships with field partners for seamless support

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of one (1) year experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans preferred

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare organization preferred

Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

Bilingual / Spanish Speaking required
