As an HSE Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and coordination of health, safety, and environmental initiatives at Kongsberg Maritimes Galveston and Houston facilities . This role ensures compliance with applicable regulations and company standards, while promoting a strong, proactive safety culture across local operations.

Responsibility / Tasks

Supports management in developing and maintaining an HSE and Risk Management system that proactively supports the business objectives of KM Americas.

• Maintain and improve HSE systems and programs for Galveston and Houston operations.
• Lead efforts to promote safety awareness through training, toolbox talks, and routine communications.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and support managers in implementing risk-reduction measures.
• Manage incident investigations, track corrective actions, and share lessons learned with site teams.
• Monitor and report HSE performance metrics using company tools (e.g., Synergi).
• Conduct regular site safety walks, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Provide onboarding and refresher safety training for employees and contractors.
• Partner with site leadership to continuously improve safety practices and culture.
