Project Manager (Houston)

A well-established engineering and construction materials testing firm is seeking an experienced Project / Branch Manager to lead operations for their Houston office. This role blends technical project oversight, business development, and team leadership, offering the opportunity to manage a thriving branch in a competitive and growing market.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily operations of the Houston branch, including staffing, budgeting, safety compliance, and quality control.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure project goals and client expectations are consistently met.
• Direct, coordinate, and monitor Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through completion.
• Prepare and review project proposals, budgets, and schedules; ensure deliverables align with client specifications and company standards.
• Serve as the primary client contact, developing and maintaining strong relationships and expanding market presence through active business development.
• Review project deliverables for compliance with engineering principles, contracts, and applicable standards.
• Support recruiting, training, and performance management for technical and administrative staff.
• Participate in professional organizations and networking events to enhance visibility and business growth in the Houston market.
