Description : Position Overview
The Warehouse Driver receives, stores, and distributes materials and products within the warehouse and delivers products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver product orders to customers
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, checking products in and out, and matching purchase orders to sales orders
- Read customer orders to determine items that need to be moved, gathered, loaded or unloaded
- Move materials and products from storage areas to and from loading areas
- Sort and place materials or products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established processes
- Identify damage, loss, or surplus of products and materials stored in the warehouse
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe
- Open containers and mark materials with identifying information according to established processes
- Assist in checking in product and taking physical inventory
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, or shoveling
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Required / Preferred Education & Experience
High school degree or equivalentValid Colorado Class B CDLOne year of prior warehouse clerk experience preferredOrganizational skills and attention to detailAbility to use standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and box cuttersAt least 3 years of satisfactory driving history required; previous delivery experience not required, but helpfulKnowledge of DOT and OSHA compliance regulationsMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMust be able to operate trucks with manual and automatic transmissionsWorking Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to lift, push & pull up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the course of the shiftAbility to walk, squat, stoop, kneel and bend repeatedly at each delivery locationAbility to enter and exit truck cab multiple times throughout the dayAbility to climb on top of and inspect top of trailerAbility to regularly pass a DOT physical and maintain FMCSA drug and alcohol standardsEligible for company benefits including :
