Junior Field Engineer (Urban Transportation Infrastructure Project)

Protecnium  is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services in construction. We are currently seeking a  Junior Field Engineer  for a large  Urban Transportation Infrastructure Project in East Harlem, New York City, USA.

• Position Details :
• Estimated Duration : 24 months.- In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him / her continuity.
• Location :  East Harlem, New York City, USA (100% on-site).
• Project : Extension of urban subway infrastructure, including approximately 2.4 km of new tunnels and three new stations, serving as a key transfer hub.
• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 9 hours per day (including 1-hour lunch).
• Responsibilities :
• Support site teams with quantities, cubic calculations, and as-builts.
• Prepare and review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Interface between design and construction teams.
• Assist in coordination with JV partners, consultants, and the client.
• Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Field Engineer in tunnel / railway / highway / heavy civil construction projects or similar.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
