Key Responsibilities :

• Design life safety and asset protection systems using AutoCAD 2D / 3D and proprietary fire protection software.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national fire codes , as well as manufacturer standards.
• Direct contractors during installation and system operation to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct job site surveys to verify proper system layout and installation.
• Review and implement customer-supplied project specifications accurately.
• Attend manufacturer training classes and other continuing education programs to stay updated on industry standards.
• Create project-specific operation and maintenance manuals .
• Update and maintain existing system drawings.
• Support office staff with engineering-related tasks, including process improvements.
• Assist with system inspections, maintenance, startups, and commissioning as needed.
