What You'll Do

Provide excellent customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to passengers and staff within the transportation environment.

Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or while on duty.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and passengers, offering assistance or guidance as needed.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment and support security-related initiatives at the location.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Experience working at locations with limited on site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.
