Job Title: Senior Inventory Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Inventory Specialist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures across the facility. Your efforts will directly impact the accuracy of pharmacy inventory on-hand balances and pricing, as well as support pharmacy inventory management activities.
Responsibilities
Validate process adherence within the facility and collaborate with partners to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate inventory activities in collaboration with Pharmacist-in-charge, Site Director, and Senior leaders.
Educate team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes and serve as a liaison between management and non-management team members.
Ensure all deliveries, including common carrier deliveries, are scanned-in and take appropriate action for undelivered scheduled receipts.
Verify that all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received at the Central Fulfillment site.
Complete pharmacy inventory activities, including pharmacy recalls following Pharmacy Hazardous Waste Policy, vendor returns, and non-controlled and damaged salvage returns.
Facilitate excess inventory returns or inter-store pharmacy transfers/returns where applicable for pharmacy items.
Manage consumables process to ensure item availability for the site and complete On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end processes.
Support pharmacy ordering by ordering expense items and monitor pharmacy manual orders to identify excess orders.
Ensure all designated pull and quarantine items are updated and placed in designated holding areas.
Assist in the preparation for physical inventory and support physical inventory day activities.
Maintain inventory compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Assist in maintaining inventory records, including receiving and posting of all products received at the store.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
1-2 years of relevant experience in inventory management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
