Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse based in Oklahoma City, OK. The nurse will be responsible for providing specialized care in wound management, ostomy care, and continence care, Hyperbaric Medicine treatments, in an acute and ambulatory care setting. Day-to-day tasks include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals with complex wound, ostomy, and continence needs. The nurse will also provide education on self-care to patients and their families, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Skills in Wound Care and Ostomy Care
• Proficiency in Nursing practices, including clinical evaluation and patient care
• Knowledge in Medicine relevant to wound, ostomy, and continence care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with at minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• ICU experience helpful
• Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification (or willingness to obtain) but not required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
