What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns. Assist in controlling access to facilities by verifying credentials and providing directions or information as needed. Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal guidelines. Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues and emergencies. Participate in ongoing training and site-specific drills to stay prepared for various situations that may arise in an educational environment. Minimum Requirements : Able to ride a bike. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
