About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales to lead and drive the performance of the regional sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction, coaching, and feedback to direct reports and team members, as well as supporting the business objective planning process within the distributor network. This role requires a strong focus on financial management, including oversight of pricing, inventory, budget, invoicing, and expenses, and the ability to challenge and hold the team and distributors accountable for market opportunities. The Regional Vice President will also be a key partner across various functions to ensure alignment and support for regional priorities.
Candidates for the Regional Vice President of Sales position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in a sales leadership role. Experience in a retail and / or three-tier distribution environment is essential, as is a strong background in financial and business acumen, strategic business planning, and development. The role demands a passion for winning, a drive for success, and expertise in sales excellence, including understanding distributor dynamics, selling and negotiation skills, and sales performance management. The ideal candidate will also have experience in category management and national and / or chain account management. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel are required.
