The sorting room supervisor will coordinate the efficient operation of the sorting room.
Responsibilities :
- Quality control and to ensure production of a minimum of __ garments every day.
- Ensure all merchandise is sorted, tagged and priced according to policy.
- Maintain records, production output, storage, quality, etc.
- Maintain inventory of necessary supplies (tags, staples, staplers, pricing guns, etc.) keeping in mind some supplies take days or weeks to receive.
- Efficiently utilize employees under your supervision. Train and cross train all personnel to prepare them for any task.
- Maintain records, attendance, production output, storage, quality, etc.
- Conduct regular evaluations of employees, identifying performance strengths and areas of development. Recommend training as necessary. Prepare written warnings as needed.
- Responsible for the collection and security of all jewelry, antiques, collectables and other items of value that are processed through the sorting operation. No merchandise is to be taken, given or loaned except by the Administrator.
- Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and / or Administrator.
