JOB SUMMARY : This position will support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day operations of the facility including hiring, training, and scheduling facility maintenance staff. They will assist with inventory and budget control. This position is responsible for the successful delivery of all aspects of the ice events in order to guarantee a safe, clean facility. This person will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility’s ice, equipment, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. This position is not eligible for remote work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Supports the Operations Manager with the day-to-day management of the operations of the facility
• Control inventory of operation equipment
• Responsible for keeping the building appearance up to company standards
• Assists with preventative building maintenance, tasks, and projects
• Consistently productive in leading staff, resolving issues, adding to task list, and driving quality workmanship, personally and with other staff
• Assists with the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards
• Works with third-party contractors on related maintenance of the building and site
• Responsible for identifying and communicating work orders to the Operations Manager
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service
• Communicates mechanical repair needs to the Engineering department in a timely manner

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to work both indoors and outdoors as required by the function and may also be exposed to adverse conditions, including inclement weather, noise, fumes, etc.
