Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Pediatric patients up to 21 years of age Patient Volume / Census : Approximately 20 patients per clinic day Admissions : As needed during inpatient consult coverage Rounding : Included when inpatient coverage applies Phone Consults : Yes, during call coverage Case Mix : General pediatric pulmonology, cystic fibrosis, asthma, and related respiratory conditions No. of Beds in Department : TBD (Women & Children's Division) Trauma Level : Adult Level IV EMR System : Cerner Office Equipment Available : Standard pulmonary diagnostic tools, spirometry, bronchoscopy suite Specialty Backup Available : Pediatrics, Respiratory Therapy, Social Work, Dietician Support Staff Available : Medical Assistants, CF Nurse / Coordinator, RT, Social Worker, Dietician Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage during colleague absences and ongoing support Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 6090 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) interpretation Full PFT and spirometry readings Bronchoscopy Licenses : Active West Virginia license (willing to license) Board : Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology; Board Certified in General Pediatrics preferred DEA : Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Experience : Prior pediatric pulmonology experie
